Daily Devotions

This morning, I woke up thinking, “The Lord hears me.” He not only hears me, but He listens to me. Not in a sense that I order Him around or tell Him what to do, but He listens closely to the words that come out of my mouth. There have been plenty of times when I have voiced a desire to someone, and though I wasn’t directly speaking to the Father, He sent a word letting me know that He overheard the conversation, confirming that He desires that for me too! This happened again just last night! 

And friend, I am encouraged at the reminder that we have heaven’s ear! That we have a Father that cares to listen in to confirm, correct, or tweak the words that escape our mouths.
